This is a small, peaceful, independent town composed of pieces rifted from old Falcon 6 Town on old Locura (including the NPCs that were a part of Father Asa's congregation) and located in the corresponding place on the reconstituted continent of Talamh. It's not very high tech, or important in any other way except for the fact that it is the focal point of entry into this world, just as it's predecessors Phocusa (Primavaldia) and Falcon 6 Town (Old Locura). The city limits of Midtown were voted in 2010 to include the Excelsior Factory, Hospital, Rocky Port, the Excelsior River, and Long Beach (formerly known as the Beach Front). Because of it's strategic situation it has a fairly large wealth base, and powerful connections with other countries.
This small bank with only two tellers, and a large magically reinforced (since the Stuffmancer's attempted break in) vault is in the Town Hall building that handles all of the town's considerable amount of money and stores precious items like gold and jewels. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.
