Rocky Port

This is a small, peaceful, independent town composed of pieces rifted from old Falcon 6 Town on old Locura (including the NPCs that were a part of Father Asa's congregation) and located in the corresponding place on the reconstituted continent of Talamh. It's not very high tech, or important in any other way except for the fact that it is the focal point of entry into this world, just as it's predecessors Phocusa (Primavaldia) and Falcon 6 Town (Old Locura). The city limits of Midtown were voted in 2010 to include the Excelsior Factory, Hospital, Rocky Port, the Excelsior River, and Long Beach (formerly known as the Beach Front). Because of it's strategic situation it has a fairly large wealth base, and powerful connections with other countries.

This port, located inside the mountains just north of Long Beach was entirely carved out of the solid rock of the mountain by dwarves. The port serves Midtown as a means of travel and trade with other parts of the world.

It is a huge brightly lit cavern, very neatly and beautifully carved (though not quite as decorative as dwarven dwellings in Aleriand) in the solid rock of the mountain with a sufficient depth for even submarines to clear the large, but well protected exit to the sea. (It was built with consideration not only for protecting the ships from storms, but possible attacks as well.) The train station is in the back and there are numerous docks for ships, as well as cranes for lifting cargo and such.
