St. Brigid Island

This island lies between Karada and Sakari and is not a part of any of the leagues. It is a neutral ground, the sacred burial place of the great fay Brigid, protector of the pokemon.
During the Great War of Primavaldia in ancient history, before even Locura was shaped, Brigid the Wise - one of the four Great Fairies - formed an alliance with the legendary pokemon (as well as all the other pokemon) and the few people of that land to battle against the great Evil. Near the end of the war Palkia and Dialga were fatally wounded, and the land ruined. With a wish from Jirachi, Brigid sacrificed her immortal life to bring healing to Palkia, Dialga, and the land of the pokemon at the beginning of Locura. Her body was buried in a sacred grove watched over by Mew and Celebi. It was said that her power imbued the land with special protection. Though very few later on remembered that story, as it had happened over two thousand years before, many held Brigid to be a Saint of one sort or another. Her grave still exists there on St. Brigid Island.
During the World Split the Pokemon Islands were pulled into the formation of the new world of Triudomhan because of the connection between Morrigan and Brigid, and of the pokemon to Lien Hua, but it was only due to the powers of Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, and the intervention of Arceus, that the islands managed survive the split. As a parting gift from Arceus for her original loyalty to the pokemon, Brigid’s body was revived and her soul placed back inside it. She now resides on St. Brigid Island, in the oak near her grave.
