Minamichiku Jungles
Nearly always sweltering hot, the thick foliage fed by the Hebinaga River hides many living things in it, even whole villages, yet Lord Suzaku, the vermilion bird, manages to keep a watchful eye over it in spite of the great difficulty in ruling this wild area. Food here is very plentiful, growing year round, and supports many yokai and other creatures. Yet many dangers lurk here, and strangers should not travel unaccompanied.
