Kitachiku Snow Fields

This is the northern region of Yokaiseki, ruled over by the daimyo Genbu, the black serpent/tortoise. It is mostly frozen tundra and snows pretty much all year. It has a long meandering lake, Korimizuko, at northern most end of which is the island Genbushima, where Lord Genbu has his luxurious underground home.

Kitachiku Snow Fields

Most of Kitachiku is covered with snow all year round, and is the home of many yokai and other creatures that love winter. Some of these are peace loving, but other more nefarious creatures are there that enjoy the lax hand with which Lord Genbu rules this land.
