Huang Jin An - The Capital

Huang Jin An [(Hwang Jeen Ahn) means Imperial Golden Peace] is the capital of Aleriand, and the traditional home of the royal family of golden dragons. It’s highest point is the Temple of Heaven, where people may come face to face with Aru, God of all gods, Creator of all creators, and where all of the citizens of Aleriand must come to have their hearts purified. The city is located in the Qianzhanzhang [(Chi-en-jahn-jong) means Foresight mountains] Mountains over looking the Yuxiang [(U-shiang) means Expectation] Village and the Xingfuwan [(Shing-fu-wan) means Happiness bay] Bay.

The events of the World Split began here, plunging all of Aleriand into certain destruction, and the Princess Lien Hua Fu, wife of Prince Conchobhar of Yokaisekai, into a sleeping death. To preserve the Aleriand the fays put the entire land into a deep magical sleep, where everything was frozen in a timeless winter for nearly eight months. On the first day of the ninth month, Conchobhar arrived after a long and arduous journey and awakened the princess with a kiss, breaking the spell over the land and bringing in a new spring.

(Aleriand was constructed in ancient Primavaldia to carry all good creatures away from the soon to be destroyed world and keep them safe untill a new world arose. Since that new world was Old Locura, and not considered "safe" Aleriand was kept separate from that world, locked away by strong magic, though some (like Princess Lien Hua) did manage to slip through the barrier to the outside.)
